HI all and hope your all serving with this terrible corona,After receiving my digilux 2 thursday every thing looked well until yesterday when i went out to take some photos with it now i hope the problem is the card because when i take a foto i can not look at it on the card its just more or less black',LCD picture is fine and see everything when i take the photo put the card in my computer see all the photos but all black,Don,t think its the camera well i hope its not, sent off for a new card not easy to find tried a micro card but did not works my question is can it be the card or something else

It's hard to say.  the D2 released in the spring of 2004, so micro SD cards and newer, high capacity cards will not work.  When I bought my D2 in 2004 I also bought several 512 MB San Disk cards - At the time they cost between USD 150 and 200.  I hope the card you ordered was not one of high capacity.  I think the highest capacity card I used on my D2 was 2 GB.  What card do you have? - Please give as many details as possible.  Assuming the issue is just the card, it's not a bad idea to have two or three cards that will work with the D2, plus a are battery.

The Digilux 2 does not take Micro-SD cards and adapters are unreliable. It needs SD 2GB class 2 or 4 cards, AFAIK various class 2 and class 4 cards are still available. The blank image error is normally caused by improper formatting in another camera. Format in the camera you are going to use it in.
