A couple from the Goodwood FOS, 2005.  Nick Mason (of Pink Floyd) is centre, and (I think) Lord March, Goodwood's owner, is at left.

A '54 Merc wins a race held in '92? Impressive. And now I come to find the relationship between many things racing, including WERA. Kudos to you and yours!

Bo, Thanks for your comments. The adventure included me being sent to retrieve the '54 Merc from a junkyard in Honeapath, SC. LOL. Took it to Savannah car builder and team manager Mickey Carter, who turned it into a Busch Grand National car underneath that was capable of 148 mph. Mark Williams was a multiple champion rally navigator and representative of the Subaru Canada Rally Team.  Peter Frank was co-WERA birther (with me and the Gudelsky's of VA) and racer of motorcycles and cars. Formidable team.

Called it on the "many racing things" as the Frank's including short track racer A.J. Frank has been involved in the mishigas of motorsports for a very long time.  All cherished I might had.

BTW, do you remember Woody Witte, head 'dude' of the Colorado motorcycle road racing association which I think has turned into MRA now?

Best, Patty

Small world Patty, I didn't know of Woody as the past head of the Colorado motorcycle racing association but knew of the magic he performs on both motorcycle and automobile wheels. I should have guessed from the range of old racing pictures adorning the walls of his shop. For in fact I have used Woody's Wheel Works to fix an aluminum rim from the F-Car that met Mr. Pothole at an unsavory speed. At some point in time I will take a set of Cromodora wheels to him for restoration. Good people that do exemplary work and I always send people with wobble problems his way.

I am betting that there are hours upon hours of fun stories that you could share...you definitely participated in an arena full of extraordinary people all bound by the need for speed.

Cheers! Brock
