I agree and would further the sentiment by saying that much the same can be said with the advancement in cameras. Old guard photographers had to know what they were doing with the equipment, understand lighting and be able to tell a story in 24 or 36 images...all the while not really know for sure if they got the shot or not. Today, most anyone can pick up a modern camera and blaze away, pixel peeping the whole time. As with fast laps aided by flappy paddle transmissions, there is little magic and (and for me at least, less satisfaction) in relying on a modern camera to do everything for the operator. 2 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
