in the dxo module database there are about 10 leicas listed including a leica 't' and there's 4 or 5 tl lenses listed underneath that body. but the cl is absent. ever since dxo had the financial difficulty (bankruptcy? custodianship?) a couple years ago they have not been adding new bodies and lenses unless the models would be conspicuous by their absence such as the flagship cameras from the top brands.

is anyone using dxo for their raw images from the cl? i literally can't use any adobe product because they destroyed my ability to do so when trying to fix the damage an update did about 5 years ago. which is likely for the best, they've been a despicable user of drm since their founding.

i do have another editor called affinity, but i added it about a year ago because it was essentially free and had such great reviews. i have no idea how to use it or if it has any of the unique corrections for body and lens that make dxo so useful.

[later note: forget affinity. likely the single worst user interface i've ever seen, and with photo and video editors, it's a low low bar.]

DXO PhotoLab will not recognize the CL's dng's. I went around and around with them after I got my CL a couple of years ago. They were horrible. I will NEVER buy another DXO program again. They were pathetic. My old T's dng's were fine. DXO is too damn lazy. As you can tell, they really piSSed me off.

since i hate adobe so much, i don't keep up with them. but isn't there a standalone dng converter available? could you use that in conjunction with one of the lens modules photoshop offers without having photoshop? and then load the converted file into whatever photo editor you use?

even if you could, i seriously doubt any plug-in would offer the laboratory tested corrections that dxo is known for. but sadly, they seem to be squandering a reputation at being the absolute best lab they've held since the 60s.

I find it strange to "hate" a company... I save that for people, and even then I struggle to find the emotion. One thing - I tried just about any postprocessing software under the sun. I liked ON1, I found Affinity acceptable, Gimp good for the price ;) ,Silkypix and RAW Therapee quite good as well, disliked C1, and DXO, found Photos abominable and always return to Photoshop CC. Fits me like a glove and is a lot cheaper in its subscription model than it was on the upgrade treadmill.

I just pay the $10.81 monthly Adobe subscription by auto-debit and never even think about it. Whether $10.81 a month or $180-$195 ever 18 months for the newest version in the days before the subscription, I don't see the difference other than, they're constantly updating/improving it these days. $10 a month is a rounding error and just silly to complain about with all the other cr@p I waste money on in much larger amounts every month.

it wouldn't matter if they paid me to use it. they wrecked their own encrypted drm file trying to fix an update to premier elements and now i can't run any adobe program that calls home to their drm server whether it's the standalone lightroom or their cc subscription bs.

Well, that is a rather rare condition. It runs flawlessly on millions of computers. I would take the data from the computer and do a clean reinstall of the whole system.
I had to do so when an OS update went pear-shaped not long ago. Pulled the data disk from the computer, cancelled the iCloud subscription and did a full format and reinstall from a bootable USB stick, set up a new iCloud account Took me  a day and I had to set up the preferences on just about anything that I started up. Somehow Adobe picked up the CC settings, like actions, from one of my Macbooks. I couldn't switch off the computer for days, it took ages to upload everything to iCloud again.
