Thanks.  For other cameras I've used that occasionally exhibited moire, a quick edit in LR sufficed . But it wasn't a regular occurrence for my subject matter.  I hadn't seen this improvement cited in early writings.

Jeff,  If you go to Chaemono's post #25 in this thread, and go approximately to the 14:18 minute portion of the Leica Tech Rep, Ray Olson's webinar clip, he talks about moire improvement with the S3.  Hope this helps.  r/ Mark

Probably because of the higher resolution.
