There are some examples higher up in the thread. Some of us can take some sample photos for you. Are there specific wishes regarding distance and aperture? I am very satisfied, but I am not a brick-photographer-type-of-guy...

My use for the S1R would be mainly landscape, for which I have the 16-35 SVE and 75 SL APO Summicron. No worries whatsoever about the latter, just a bit concerned over corner performance of the 16-35 between 16 mm and 21 mm.  I shoot f/8 to f/11 for 99% of my landscape images with the 16-35 SVE. Everything from seascapes to forest interiors. Coming from the LF world and drum scanned transparency film, I'm fairly picky about edge-to-edge resolution, and have noticed some drop-off on the 16-35 between 16 mm and 21 mm on the SL. Just wondering if this will be exaserbated on the even higher resolution sensor.

Ha ha, the Godfather Al Baxtone has broke the rule of omerta and posted pictures of the secret location on YT
So you do not have to be scared of being punished by getting concrete shoes and swimming lessons in the mersey 🙂

I think i have to excuse posting so much pics in the last few days, but as i am not that kind of bricket photographer too it helps me more to see results of a new camera done "on the fly" , -> taken in a realistic surrounding and setting.
And btw  i have to thank @thighslapper for his very revealing photos.

Not Armageddon but "tornoado like" in northern germany nearby Hannover.

I'm increasingly impressed with the Dynamic Range of the S1R ..... despite the overexposed area warnings there is still detail which can be recovered from what are flagged as blown highlights and deep shadow detail is very clean with minimal processing at low ISO's. Church shots like this always pose a problem. 75/2

....... and having IBIS and 47mpx is an enormous help ...... this is cropped a lot and was handheld with the 75/2 at 1/10sec.

This beautiful window is in the tiniest of churches in a hidden village called Hawnby, nestled in a deep valley in the North York Moors.

I am starting to play around with a variety of M lenses on the S1R.  This one with the Summilux-M 50 1.4.

The Summilux 50mm M ASPH was my Leica entry point and remains one of my favourite lenses for rendering, as well as sharpness.  The 90-280mm produces a surprisingly clean image (based on experience with other zooms of comparable focal length).

Many value the S1 series for the multi-shot resolution.  For me the IBIS is the feature that makes most difference to my images over the SL.  The S1R resolution is remarkable but invisible other than in prints and I imagine that the high ISO performance of the S1 is much better than the SL.   I haven't exercised the AF extensively, but the Panasonic's doesn't seem to be much of an advance over the SL.   The viewfinder is better and there are more settings for the Panasonic bodies, but once you have set things up there I don't much worry about settings either way.

I agree, the Summilux-M 50 ASPH is an incredible lens, and the S1R with its image stabilization is a perfect host for it, as well as other of my M lenses, including the 50 APO and 50 Noctilux.  I am in the process of testing all my M lenses on the S1R, but so far, I have found that they all work well, and manual focusing is a breeze with the S1R's focus aids.  To my surprise, the Canon EF 50mm 1.8 STM is a great little, inexpensive, auto focus lens that performs admirably on this camera.  It's light, and it costs only $125. Hard to believe.

S lenses work beautifully on the S1R...if you don't mind manual focus, which I don't.
