How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2048 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “c

Nice picture Ernst...so much like a mini Sydney Harbour Bridge.

The Tyne bridge was influenced by Sydney harbour bridge and the same construction firm, Dorman Long & Co from Middlesbrough, England built both.

 

Small world!

How do you like the 35/2.5 Color-Skopar?  I have/use the PII version, I absolutely love it for its compactness, sharpness and overall contrasty image quality; it's the primary lens for my M8.

I just love what the M8 can do with IR!  35mm f/2.5 Voigtlander Color-Skopar PII with R72 filter handheld.

 

 

I find my M8 is very effective for IR as well. Have you modified your M8 or is it just an IR filter? That's all I use.

It is my third lens of this flavor. So, I have P LTM first, P II after and and now Classic LTM for M8. Honestly, Summarit-M 35 2.5 I also have is worth every penny, but I don't have enough pennies for second one. This is the only reason I purchased Skopar again. It is worth of 265USD I paid for it. It is sharp enough, saturating enough, but it is nowhere near to Summarit-M 35 2.5 by the image quality and quality of the build. None of the three of them, which are same optically, but with different build. 

 

With Color Skopar 35 2.5 :)
