I was so tempted to upgrade to a M9 before my recent China trip. At the end decided to stay with my trusted M8. Here's one taken during the trip. Lens: Summicron 35mm 6 elements.

I can see why. I'm still not tempted by the M9.

ISO 2500 - People are overthinking the ISO limitations imo. It looks far worse incamera than once you get it on the computer.

 

It is excellent as long as you have decent lighting, thus very short exposures, to limit the noise (which by nature is time-dependent).
