Some nice shots. However I would have liked to see more faces and less backs of heads.

And some concistency in the post-processing. Generally when in a series, they have the same PP.

+1

I second your thoughts holybasil.

OP: your series is very cool, you are getting some great images and I like your unique angle, too. The best images in the series for me are the ones which show the artist's eyes. The images without 'eyes' had a different emotional pallette for me as a viewer. The human mind is constructed in a way that makes us viscerally want to see someone's Eyes when we interact with them. That desire extends to images of People and even to animals, too. It's why the images w/ eyes and w/o eyes have different palletes of interpretation for a viewer.

I 'think' the reason I like the angle you've been shooting from so much is that it runs counter to the cultural impulses to put classical musicians, classical instruments, and the music they play on a pedestal up and away from other music and other musicians. Your elevated perspective combined with the happy emotions on the musician's faces looking back up at you creates a warm and happy feeling about them and their music for me.

Kudos

Thanks Holybasil>> :D

These cliches were experimental on a study of a higher prospective and I agree the consistency of the PP is zero as I am just learning it . Thank you and this is my first lesson.

WestMichigan thanks. >>>:D

As I said above I was trying capture some movements through this higher end and they were moving and dancing all the time. when I was concentrating on their movements and with my camera with 90mm asp which is on constant change of focusing it was not a fun. II was happy to get some focus images plus some direct contact . As you say this prespective really plays a different view and relationship towadrs classical music and instrument . It would have been different if I was in their level and looking through in to their face.

Cheers!!

Hard to say, the muted colors just isn't working for me. Maybe leave the colors at reg saturation? It feel like there's so much color there, but you're holding it back.

Just my opinion, don't take it too seriously.

I've been hesitant to post my photos as I'm still not very comfortable with my Leica, but on a recent trip to New Orleans I was able to get several photos that I'm happy with. So I figured why not share with you all, since I've been enjoying your sharing with me.

Bourbon Street as seen from my hotel room patio.

Leica M8, Zeiss 50/1.5 Sonar, and Photoshop (to straighten my slightly off angle shot, and tint the photo).
