I like your composition. But I suggest there needs to be more separation from the background -- I am frequently disappointed when I make photos in the forest because the sun is highly variable and the tones all meld together which leaves me with visual chaos. You don't have that here but I think it could have greater impact. Just a thought. I like your work!!

Hi Chips, thank you for the comment.

I used a yellow filter and then a nudge of clarity (13 out of 100) and an amount of structure (5 out of 100) in Capture One on the background layer and that was it.  My only annoyance with the photo was I had not thought though the shutter speed 😞 - I stopped the propellers.

I'm the Godfather to the two young women on the left. One of them was married Sunday so I brought my M10M and just one lens (Nokton 50mm f/2.0) to shoot a few b&w photos. This was just as I was arriving.
