It has to be extremely cold for the river to freeze over due to the current. I wouldn't walk on it, but this is fairly rare here. The two tiny specks out on the lake are ice skaters.

First few weeks with camera, mostly been taking quick portraits of my gf around the city.  Voigtlander 50 1.5 II SC w 1/2 Black Satin, and 35 1.2 III.

Very nice. I think you'll grow to love the camera more and more and the lenses you're using are both great for Monochroms.

I think the first one is my favorite of the bunch. You're lucky to have a pretty gf who doesn't mind being photographed.

I brought the tripod with me today and made some long exposures with a ND filter.

M10M + Summilux 50 mm.
