That should fit perfectly. The Summicron SL lenses are (ø x L) 2.87 x 4.02". The pouch that is shown in the link is 3 x 4.5”.

Edit - forgot to mention, it says the lens is not included. 😂

Thanks... but I want the Leica one... just to have for if/when I sell the lens. Want it to be complete. Lost my current one. I have a bunch of small cases I use for storage and travel.

These pouches aren’t sold separately. The only way to get it is from Leica, and they should know the size.  What’s the need for a picture of it then?

There are several on Ebay...and I want to confirm that I am ordering the right one.

If the pouches are fake chances are the pictures of them are as well.

I want a picture and measurements of the actual Leica pouch from someone that owns the 75 SL... that's all.

I will figure what to do after I get the info...

Thanks for all of your concern :)

Have a look at the B&H link, scroll down and you'll see several different after market options for lens cases for the 75mm SL lens.

You can also get the lens dimensions if you click on the "SPECS" tab, this should help you with the eBay pouches.

Mine has never been out of the box that the lens came in....... which is in the garage roof space with all my other original camera/lens packaging.

I have a drawer full of neoprene ones in various sizes I use and several thicker padded ones with loops for straps. I only use them when I have to pack and carry a lens in something other than a proper camera bag or backpack.

You're missing the point.  He thinks that having the genuine bag will make the lens resell for at least $100 more when he gets tired of it in another month or so...  That's not how I see the SL series, so I haven't retained the original grey or black boxes.  It is probably a valid issue for the M series, with its jewel boxes and mini-drawer containers to give a special unboxing experience.

I get daily use out of my bags.  If they don't contain lenses, they are probably full of front and back caps and Leica M to L or R to L adapters.

Thanks for pics... would you mind measuring it for me??

I'll ignore this... "He thinks that having the genuine bag will make the lens resell for at least $100 more when he gets tired of it in another month or so"... a little rude.

In case you aren't aware... complete lenses which include boxes and accessories always bring in higher re-sale prices than if they aren't present. Your editorial comments about whether it is a valid issue is just wrong.

Sorry if I was rude, but my own belief is that M lens boxes are valuable,  (and I save all of them), while SL equipment are packed with little drama.  I don't expect the same extra value will accrue when they reach E-Bay.  I know it makes little difference in most store trade-ins.  I have almost always picked up new Leica gear while on trips to the US, so getting the boxes back requires larger than usual carry-on luggage, and space. I have sold older gear on E-Bay (but never Leica lenses), and sometimes watch auctions and do comparison shopping for entertainment and education.

An earlier post has the correct dimensions 3.5 inches across and 5 inches high to the seam.  And there is a ruler in my picture at the same distance from the camera as the lens bag.

Thanks... appreciate it.

The post above shows the specs for a non Leica pouch... that's why I asked.

Gear, boxed and with original packaging and papers may not command a great premium on resale ...... but they are MUCH easier to sell, as buyers will always opt for it if available.

Yup... I think it signifies to the potential buyer that you are super anal... and pay attention to detail (which, may or may not be true).
