tobey bilek Posted January 7, 2020 Share #3 Posted January 7, 2020 Had this problem downloading to Capture One from M9. Did everything to no avail. Finally took cards from D7000, formatted them in M9 and they work. M8 and M10 worked fine. The M9 cards worked in D7000. Go figure. I would format the card in camera and update to latest firmware. If you can not find it, call customer service in New Jersey and they will send a link. If you do not wish to format a card, buy new ones compatible with firmware update. Keep to slow cards. Buy from B&H or other trusted source, not Ebay. Stay with the two major brands, Lexar or Sandisk. Try to download from camera and /or card reader to folder in documents, then move to LR. Old card readers may not work with Catalina. You may need a new reader. I spent a mont working on the problem. Do not give up.
sshire Posted January 8, 2020 Share #4 Posted January 8, 2020 Imac 27”. Catalina. No issues at all with Lightroom. M10 card in card reader slot on the iMac or generic USB reader. Not related specifically but after problems installing Canon Pro 10 printer, I did a Catalina reinstall (this will not change or remove any files). Fixed the problem. I’ve also had excellent tech support from both Adobe and Apple.
