stuny Posted December 26, 2019 Share #5 Posted December 26, 2019 Flamingoes tend to be very shy, and normally try to keep about 400 meters away. One of the few times we've been able to get close was in the Galapagos islands. This particular flamingo clearly has been eating a lot of shrimp for quite some time - Eating shrimp increases their color, something I've never noticed on humans who gobble shrimp. 1 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
Louis Posted December 26, 2019 Author Share #6 Posted December 26, 2019 This one was shot in Miami seaquarium (a disappointment comparing to the one in Baltimore!) . They were separated with a small fence and very close to visitors. I didn’t like my other shots because of the background crowd.
