Hi ,

I’m having difficulties with the fotos app. When I connect to my camera, it tells me I have no photos to display, even though there are new photos. I connect via Bluetooth, and it seems to struggle to connect, and when it eventually does, it tells me there are no photos to display. It shows previous photos I have taken, which leads me to believe something happened and it’s looking in a different folder on the card? That’s the only thought that makes sense. Any help would be appreciated, as I am currently on vacation and eager to see/share photos!

I think the problem is that LEICA fotos App  does not accept the raw format.

It does with me...

You're shooting DNG/JPG.  How do you know Lightroom isn't just recognizing the JPG?

In terms of the products being discussed, this is an ancient thread. Also, it might be helpful to mention the cameras and mobiles involved. Leica FOTOS consists of two parts. One runs on the camera, the other on the phone. For each part there are different variants, written to run on different phone and camera architectures.

In this vein: With the Leica CL and an Android (#11) phone, the pictures shot in both DNG and JPG format are recognized and displayed on the phone, but only after a very noticeable delay of perhaps five to ten seconds. Also, it seems that the app only shows pictures taken under control of that app. I don't know how it does this, as the pictures are all in the same subdirectory under DCIM. Most likely it keeps a list somewhere of pictures taken with the FOTOS app, but it just as soon could tag them within the image files.
