brickftl Posted December 12, 2019 Share #1 Posted December 12, 2019 Advertisement (gone after registration) there was discussion a while ago on steps to be taken to prevent accidentally starting video mode on the Q. Can someone tell me how to do that with Q2 video mode? The other night I somehow went into video mode and couldn't exit it. Even when I powered off and then on again I remained in video mode. I DETEST Q/Q2 VIDEO MODE AND WISH I COULD ELIMINATE IT PERMANENTLY
Advertisement Posted December 12, 2019 Posted December 12, 2019 Hi brickftl, Take a look here Q2 video mode. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Siriusone59 Posted December 12, 2019 Share #2 Posted December 12, 2019 I don't think there is a way to permanently disable it(that I've found) but the center button on the menu navigation will toggle between modes and certain EVF settings. That's where I've had trouble in the past by accidentally hitting that center button and putting the camera in video mode....when that happens just hit it again to toggle to normal photo mode. Yes, it's a pain and I too wish there was a way to lock it out but as a work around I've started looking along the top of the screen to make certain that the movie camera isn't being displayed. PhotoCruiser Posted December 13, 2019 Share #4 Posted December 13, 2019 I experienced the same problem that i accidential recorded video instead of photos or changed the screen layout. I still did not found a solution to avoid that and hopefully LEICA will adress this in the nex firmware update. Chris
