I am new to mirrorless cameras and electronic viewfinders.   I been shooting with M series cameras for over 40 years.  When I am letting the SL2 acquire focus (either in AF-s or AF-c) the viewfinder image is a bit fuzzy.  After taking a picture the displayed playback image in the view finder is much clearer.  I see the same phenomena using both the 24-90 and 90-280 zoom lenses with image stabilization activated.   Is this difference between before and after viewfinder images a normal phenomenon?  Is there a combination of settings that will reduce the fuzziness of the pre-shot viewfinder image?

To clarify, do you see fuzziness while focusing only or all the time. If you see it all the time, do you have pre-focus on or off?

Many mirrorless cameras show slightly fuzzy EVF image when doing additional work, like focusing.
