YourFather Posted December 3, 2019 Share #1 Posted December 3, 2019 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) Hey, I know it is not exactly trending as the lens is few years old but I did make a video about it so I thought someone might appreciate it here. I kinda wanted to step up the video quality from my last year revivew. Feedback will be appreciated 🙂. Leica Summilux F/1.4 ASPH -Three Years with the Lens - Review Welcome, dear visitor! Rob L Posted December 3, 2019 Share #2 Posted December 3, 2019 You might want to add the focal length to your title.

Ko.Fe. Posted December 3, 2019 Share #4 Posted December 3, 2019 This is most fascinating part of unknown focal length f1.4 lens review. The rest is lens spinning (makes me motion sick) and yellow chair. I'm finding gear reviews where gear taken pictures are next to not exist been useless waste of time.
YourFather Posted December 3, 2019 Author Share #5 Posted December 3, 2019 First of all - How did you manage to embed the video. I had been trying to figure it out for quite a while Anyways I did include like 10 pictures. You can find the rest on the blog if it wasn't enought. But I see your point. I will add more pictures next time. Thank you!
a5m Posted December 3, 2019 Share #6 Posted December 3, 2019 I often think when watching a review video how it'd be if I were to make one. Then I realize how difficult it really is and it makes me appreciate the effort people put in - from the lighting and set-up, the content and editing, to putting yourself out there in front of a camera for the world to see where you know you'll get judged. Thank you for your review video. Always like watching any involving Leica, as there aren't too many out there compared to other brands.

I have started like little less than a year ago to produce more frequently but I am still kinda stressed out and nervous in front of the camera. Sometime I am just unable to articulate the whole sentence. So I fugered I would just hide the cuts with the "cinematics" so what I am saying make sence and it visually looks better than lot of cuts. It is great to receive comments like this as it is encouraging to continue producing videos. Thank you!

Absolutely, my pleasure 🙂 BTW I didn't get that at all - you didn't seem nervous or stressed to me. In fact I like how you delivered the info calmly. Not a fan of overly enthusiastic reviewers; it comes off as disingenuous. Also I assume English isn't your native language, in which case you did a brilliant job there too. As far as the review itself, it was insightful and concise. Didn't drag on, you hit on all the main points, and the sample images throughout the video kept my interest. Not to mention the editing was on point. Keep it up! 👍
