The reason why it works must be the chip, not the adapter, I guess I wish it worked as i would be tempted to order a Kolari modded A73 to upgrade my A7s mod then.

I must click twice on my A7s1 with whatever adapter.  From Gary Friedman's A7III Guide:- To assign a function to a button, just do the following: For Stills: MENU - 2 - 8 - (Image) Custom Key - [Choose a button] - [Choose a function to assign to that button]. lct Posted December 5, 2019 Share #23 Â Posted December 5, 2019 (edited) Thank you Keith but if you assign it to a button, are you sure you don't have to press twice on it? On my A7s mod, i use the C1 button for focus magnification and i have to click twice on it. First click to trigger the focus patch and second click to display the magnified view. Does your A73 work differently? Edited December 5, 2019 by lct
TeeGee Posted March 29, 2020 Share #24 Â Posted March 29, 2020 (edited) @lct: if you set the "Initial Focus Magnification" in the menu to 5.6 instead to 1 then one click will be enough. This works on the A7III, maybe on the A7s too. If "AF in Focus Mag." is set to "Off" then the magnification will be reset with the shutter release button.
