Just got my SL2 today and wanted to get a LCD Protector. Does the original Leica SL LCD protector work on the SL2? or is there a better 3rd party I should consider.

Lastly looking for a 3rd party neck strap that would work well. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Finally a strap thread😉 I got my self the SL2 limited edition from RockNRoll straps, after heaving read a lot of positive comments about their straps on this forum.

100cm or 125cm?

The LCD protector for the SL works fine on the SL2 - it covers more than the entire viewable area.  There is a very small area on the LCD OUTSIDE of the viewable area that isn't covered - I'm not that concerned about it.

As far as straps go I have the Peak Design Slide but am also looking at other options.  The Rock n Roll strap looks nice but kind of big and bulky, no?

I had a Rock n Roll strap on my original SL and loved it.  The amazing thing about it is that because of the way it's constructed it sort of acts like a shock absorber and the camera actually feels much lighter when hanging and walking around.

How easy and quick is it to take the Rock N Roll strap on and off the SL?  Sometimes I like just using a wrist strap instead and keeping the camera in a small bag where a big strap would get in the way.  It's a nice looking strap and I like how it would absorb the weight a little.
