SL2 vs S body systems with S glass

I’m always going to want to print bigger than you but can we with the SL2?

Yes we can!! But. MF has always and will always have smoother transitions from sharp to unsharp, from contrasty to nuanced, than 24x36mm, whether it is in film or in digital. And this is not a question of enough resolution to print big, perhaps not even a matter of taste. It’s just a question of different image styles which you can chose to convey a message.

I still prefer S glass on S body when printing 20 x 30 inches or larger.

It might look a bit different, but 47mp with the S glass is going to give you a very nice enlargement. It will be interesting to compare one against the other. I am planning on getting an SL2, and if I do, I will surely give this a try. I suspect the "look" difference will be more consequential than the resolution difference.

Would like to see some macro shots with the S 2.5/120 adapted on SL2. If anybody has the gear ....
