I allow myself some consideration, having seen it and tried it even if quickly.
There is a lot of technology and quality, it can safely be said that it is a modern machine, aligned with similar current productions.
It costs about 1,000.00 euros less than the M10, why? Is it the machine/system on which Leica intends to invest and aim for the next few years?
The M series is right to exist because there are so many M optics around?
Given the size and cost of the optics, can its use satisfy a large number of users?

The S2/S2-P were the original CCD cameras from 2009 and were superseded in 2012 so are elderly by digital standards - M9 era so pre-M(240) never mind M10.  It will produce superb results in bright light but high ISO is not very good.

Those of us who use the S (later versions are S(006) and the CMOS S(007)) are happy with them, they can produce far better results than any FF sensor  - there are several threads about that...
