caissa Posted November 27, 2019 Share #3 Â Posted November 27, 2019 Some said they have v. 1.01. Â No idea what's the difference and where it comes from. Maybe only for the shops (to load the demo cameras).
DMRMAN Posted December 5, 2019 Share #4  Posted December 5, 2019 (edited) Wonder from where to download the firmware ? That should not be state secret:);)? Regardless of if it is 1.0 1.1 etc. The more features it covers the more there are pics to see etc. Edited December 5, 2019 by DMRMAN Typo

DMRMAN Posted May 28, 2020 Share #8 Â Posted May 28, 2020 Well, if these good people cannot tell where to find it - it leaves little speculation;)?
DMRMAN Posted May 28, 2020 Share #9  Posted May 28, 2020 Well, I could not agree more. However, the basic functions like the flash You mentioned should be easy fix, as the downloading from both cardslots to the Photo App. (There is surely a Memory issue as well). The battery consumption has always been high on the modern Leicas and these will be there forever. These times means everybody are just back home working and only manual work is ceased. I hope the company gets through this time - as the recession which will hit every market economy on the globe will really test the loyalty to brands and Leica will not be any exception, which they surely understand - and people will not struggle with minor problems before they level on so to say - and that will hopefully be just a plane which Leica will create now when they still have time. FlashGordonPhotography Posted May 29, 2020 Share #10 Â Posted May 29, 2020 8 hours ago, Lion73 said: There is no firmware version of the SL2 later than version 1! It is shameful. A six thousand euro body that does not allow to use flash manually over 1/250s, (and incompatible with any other third party flash) and with a double battery consumption compared to other brands. Perhaps it is appropriate to remind Leica that we are in 2020 not in the 90s! Soon the camera body will be old and they have not been able to come up with any updates. Every other word is superfluous. The original SLÂ was worse. Far worse. Gordon
