Louis Posted November 14, 2019 Share #3 Posted November 14, 2019 Absolutely beautiful. If Turner had a camera, this is how I would imagine his work.

A miller Posted December 7, 2019 Share #6 Posted December 7, 2019 very lovely, Ece. There is so much to love. The moon is at the bottom of that list for me - I would almost be inclined to clone it out. That sky is sublime.
allamande Posted December 8, 2019 Author Share #7 Posted December 8, 2019 Advertisement (gone after registration) Thank you Stuart, Adam. Adam, at the time, I stayed around that spot for nearly two hours to experience a spectacular sunset and its aftermath, and just when it felt like total sensory saturation, the moon (full moon at that) started to rise. In some ways it felt like being transported to another realm. I stayed around to watch it rise as the sky got darker. I think I chose this particular early sequence shot to post because it represents that sensory transition for me. I wouldn't clone it out, however your thoughts make me think you picked up on this idea too. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts.
Louis Posted December 8, 2019 Share #8 Posted December 8, 2019 (edited) I think the moon, even small and in a corner (!) does add something to this shot. I love it as it is! BTW, I shot some pictures from almost the same place, but with the sunrise. What a spectacle place! A chacun son gout! That does it for me and nothing else is needed. bravo!
platypus Posted December 11, 2019 Share #10 Posted December 11, 2019 This is such a beautiful image. Although I do find the moon distracting. it's just so sharp and bright while all else is subtle and perfectly illusive. Please don't take this as a criticism, I don't usually comment on the work of others, but could not resist with this as it's so remarkable, moon or no moon.
