Intermediate Shutter Speeds

I'll swear I've seen somewhere it's possible to get intermediate speeds such as 1/90th from the Q.  I can't see anything in the manual.  

So what's the trick if there is one?

If you shoot using Aperture Priority the camera will select intermediate shutter speeds, as required by the light conditions.

In the manual it states that the shutter speed can be adjusted in increments in conjunction with 'scene' modes but I can't work out how this is done.

In the review of the Q in DP review March 23 2016, they also refer to being able to adjust in 1/3 increments unless I'm misunderstanding something.

On both Q-P & Q2 you most certainly can select an "intermediate" shutter speed when in "shutter priority" mode.

Methodology:

1) Rotate shutter speed dial to a fixed value setting, eg: 1/60

2) Use thumbwheel to rotate either left or right to select intermediate value.

In the example of 1/60, you can choose 1/40, 1/50, [1/60], 1/80 or 1/100.

Thanks.  Tried that with my Q but it doesn't work.  I'm on firmware 3.0.

Just checked and there's a new version 3.1.  I install it and see what I get.

I'm guessing most here are using Aperture Priority or Manual modes.
