Pecole Posted September 27, 2019 Share #1 Posted September 27, 2019 Advertisement (gone after registration) I found back in a fogotten box in a drawer, the penholder I used through my first years at school, during the 1940-44 war. And I aimed my Leica to record same, including in front of the computer I use every day. Our last grand-daughter, eleven, could not believe it even existed. Unfortunately, I did not find ink (is it still available in some shops?) to let her "try". Evolution... Welcome, dear visitor! stuny Posted September 27, 2019 Share #3 Posted September 27, 2019 Very neat, and I'm certain you can find ink in Coimbra, Lisboa or Portu.
Pecole Posted September 28, 2019 Author Share #4 Posted September 28, 2019 Thanks to both TonyW and Stuny, but I live near Faro, Algarve, am 85 and not prepared to drive kilometers to find an ink that will certaily see the pen just once!
Graham (G4FUJ) Posted September 29, 2019 Share #5 Posted September 29, 2019 Lovely pen and photos. I am sure ink is still available. Some of the people I have worked with over the last few years still use fountain pens which they fill from a bottle of ink. Any good stationery shop should have a bottle or two.
