SL / s1 / s1h with 11-23mm Full frame?

Hi,

    Has anyone tried the 11-23mm with the SL or s1 in full frame mode? I understand that it will probably vignette at 11mm, but is it possible to use it at like 15mm+ in FF by any chance? 

Thinking similarly to how the sony 10-18mm aps-c can be used in like the ~16-18mm range in full frame mode (although might not be ideal) on a7--- series. 

My thought is to get the s1h and use it for 4k 60p at 11mm which is like 16mm or so equivalent for video, and then use full frame mode for wide angle pictures at maybe somewhere between 16-23mm if possible. Then this would be my end game camera for the most part since all I want is 4k 60p with low light, flip screen for selfie/vlog, and ff image quality. AF and size would be the only tradeoff for now if so.

The CL lenses put both the SL and the S1/S1R into APS-C modes.  For video except in the 6K mode on the S1H I think that should be fine, as the others can work in the super 35 frame, which is slightly smaller than APS-C.  You can't get 11mm full frame on either camera with the 11-23, but it is a fine lens.

Ah okay, so maybe there's no option to turn on full frame mode for those smaller lenses. Thank you
