TK! Posted September 2, 2019 Share #21 Posted September 2, 2019 Advertisement (gone after registration) BXL GOTHAM really has a point. I am working under Linux (no, please no discussion on this 🙂) and I fully depend on open source. Lens correction with the library lensfun, https://github.com/lensfun/lensfun, someday became possible for the Q, nothing known to me for the Q2. Darktable for example relies on lensfun. Whereas lenscorrection is just some math I have more problems with color profiles. Is there anything publicly available? Or is it possible to export profiles from Adobe-Software? thanks Tk
Advertisement Posted September 2, 2019 Posted September 2, 2019 Hi TK!, Take a look here For the love of god, how can I manually lens correct Q2 images in any app?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jaapv Posted September 2, 2019 Share #22 Posted September 2, 2019 Make your own, using X-Rite colour charts and software. (move to OSx if needed to create them) I would advise anybody to do so, they beat the Adobe ones hands down, as they are tailored to your individual camera.

The Adobe Q2 one seems fairly reasonable (though I've not used it enough to really make a judgement as I almost always use B&W) but the M240 one was bloody awful. I bought a profile creator about a week after the M240. I suspect Adobe puts their efforts where their customers are, and for the most part that is Canon, Nikon et al, not Leica to anything like the same volume.
