This is now available for download, which I've done. But repeated attempts to copy the file to the root directory of an SD card results in the error message:

The Finder can’t complete the operation because some data in “601__36_.lfu” can’t be read or written.
(Error code -36).

I've tried different SD cards (all formatted in camera), and also downloaded the FW again. I am used to the upgrading FW process on the SL, and many other cameras.

Anyone else having problems?

Changing to another card brand (Sandisk) seems to have solved the problem for me.  I was using Samsung cards which have always worked well in my Leicas (and AFAIR were offered a few years back as an incentive to subscribe to LFI).

Odd that, but we're off and running now.
