Dan Bachmann Posted August 10, 2019 Share #2 Posted August 10, 2019 From my experience, yes. Even when it didn't seem there were more defects, the existing corrosion continued to get larger.

AceVentura1986 Posted August 19, 2019 Share #5 Posted August 19, 2019 I first noticed one artifact they summer of 2014. I coped for a long time by just cloning out the artifacts in order to wait for a new sensor design. By the time I sent it in during the spring of 2016, the new sensor was already out and corrosion had gotten so bad that I finally sent it in for repair. So, yes, it continues to degrade over time and eventually becomes unusable.
Ko.Fe. Posted August 19, 2019 Share #6 Posted August 19, 2019 My M-E with 2015 production year. Purchased in 2016. It went from corrosion free to one spot in 2017 and by 2018 it was much more than one.
