Advertisement Posted June 10, 2019 Posted June 10, 2019 Hi assinder, Take a look here Leica/Panasonic DG lenses?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Bob Andersson Posted June 11, 2019 Share #2 Â Posted June 11, 2019 (edited) This wiki table may be of use: List of lens mounts There's an obvious issue with the flange focal distance. I suppose it might be possible to do but I can't think of a single reason, apart from idle curiosity, why one would want to and as sure as eggs is eggs nobody is going to put the R&D into developing an adaptor which won't repay those costs. jaapv Posted June 11, 2019 Share #3 Â Posted June 11, 2019 You are right, it is not possible to have an adapter.
assinder Posted June 11, 2019 Author Share #4  Posted June 11, 2019 Thank you for the helpful replies. I just happen to have such a lens lying about and was just curious. I will not pursue this any further and it will go. BTW I love the SL and what it allows me to do. I already had a collection of M lenses and bodies plus a few film and digital Nikons which I used for their telephoto lens capabilities for wildlife. Everything has now been sold and I have a wonderfully simple and blissfully light system comprising of "just" one M10 and one SL with half a dozen M lenses and adapter plus the 90-280 to cover my wildlife . The 90-280 with the SL sensor produces such stunning quality it allows pretty serious cropping to extend its range to match my old Nikon 400mm. My only film camera now is, I confess, a Contax G2 with a set of lenses. Lovely. Thanks again. Nick.
