Hi I picked up an Imacon 646 a few weeks back from work, and they where going to bin it but I since I only started a few months ago had never seen it so yeah lucky as hell really as works perfect.

Anyway... the two screws on the back to keep it locked up does anyone know what they are before I buy loads and try them all out. It takes just two I but dont want to force the wrong type in just to keep the case locked up

Hope that makes sense and someone has the answer

Thanks

Pete

No idea where you are but if you're in the UK, contact Stu Culley, he is now servicing Imacon scanners and should be able to help you. Otherwise, try Bodoni Systems .

The screws hold the front and side casing assembly on and  you'll need an Allen key, around 4-6mm but I can't remember the exact size or thread.

Someone at your work needs their head looking at.  Your gain!

Good luck with it, the 646 is a superb scanner.  I've had mine for 14 years from new and made 10's of 1000's of scans without a problem and prints (up to 12 feet x 4 feet from my 6x17cm negs and transparencies) for several UK exhibitions.

Hello everybody,

First of all, I would like to endorse all the complaints expressed here about Hasselblad leaving us all in the jeopardy.

It has been a long way before the present situation with my Flextight X1.

To make it short, I have replaced the motherboard yesterday, got from Denmark, and everything seemed to fit perfectly well.

But, with all my folders, I keep getting this message : "no folder"...

I have browsing around and could not find a single word about it. I would greatly appreciate any suggestion !!!

(The Flexcolor version is the last one 4.8.13 (reloaded !) and the dedicated Mac (Mac mini 2011) is running under High Sierra, previously used without any problem.)
