Pyrogallol Posted May 20, 2019 Share #21 Posted May 20, 2019 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have several of the modern straps, with two different types of clips. The type shown in the top of this picture seem to have tighter plastic cover grips than the type in the bottom of the picture. Welcome, dear visitor! Advertisement Posted May 20, 2019 Posted May 20, 2019 Hi Pyrogallol, Take a look here The M nylon strap, anyone uses it?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Steve Ricoh Posted May 20, 2019 Share #22 Posted May 20, 2019 Both my M6 and M240 have clips as shown in the bottom of your picture. The plastic covers of the older (?) M6 strap are far more snug.
NigelG Posted May 20, 2019 Share #23 Posted May 20, 2019 If you find the plastic clips of the bottom type a little loose a quick tweak with a wide bladed screwdriver to separate the "horizontal bars" a tiny bit further apart while keeping the springing of the wire makes the "horns" grip better in the plastic. I have used these straps on all my Ms since they came out and prefer the way they collapse into a bag taking up no room and you never have to "fight" them. Wish I could fit one to my M Edition 60....
