Jake Posted May 14, 2019 Share #9 Posted May 14, 2019 (edited) As of yet I don't have software to process raw images, and use snapseed on an ipad to alter the jpg output. It's basic, but when you jack up the "ambiance" or saturation in combo with contrast/adjust highlights and shadows, it leaves a halo around objects with high contrast. Similar to what is being described on the petals. I see it on a macbook pro. IOW, and extreme adjustments leaves artifacts. An image I posted to the image thread (motor bike with headlight out) has similar effects. Not exactly the same, but similar. I blame the cheap(free) software. Speaking of image editing software, does anybody have any recommendations other than lightroom or photoshop? Something you actually own, not subscribe to.
