I know the lens is considered perhaps the weakest (aside perhaps from the 18mm), but I think it produced very nice colors and details above, and am taking only that (along with my wife, of course 😀) to Boston for the weekend. As you mentioned, I think 18-56 produces very decent images for colors as well for IQ. I hope it wouldn’t make me a liar during your trip to Boston. Have a great trip.
