I haven't seen any 3.5 release notes yet listed in the "FIRMWARE CHRONOLOGY" on what the changes/ improvements are.

Anyone have any idea?

in the German Forum they say the 24-90 make little noise while zoom. did anybody hear this?

Accounts differ on this.  I hear that Leica USA is busy doing inventory this week and can't distribute them even if they have arrived.  Also, the list of supported lenses included the 50/2.0 APO SL SC, which hasn't got a price or availability date yet.

I was intrigued by the asterixes covering how Panasonic L lenses will be accompanied by warnings when used on the CL ("power-hungry OIS") and will require a firmware update to function on the TL2.

But the Firmware Update history makes interesting reading.  I've used all but the very first of them.

Could be. B&H lists the "expected availability" as April 5. On the other hand, when I stopped by the Leica Mayfair store a couple of weeks ago, it was "whenever it shows up."

I'll wait until I get home to update the firmware.
