We had been noting the behaviors of this nesting pair of kestrals for several days in northeastern Dominican Republic, when on our last day we saw the bird on the right return to its favorite perch with a hapless lizard in its beak, holding it there for its mate to take.  The first image is the offer and approach.  the second image is the beneficiary of the reptilian gift.

Bill -

Thank you.  Over the week we were there we saw them eating other lizards, a small bird, and carry prey back to their nest - Sadly the nest was invisible to us from any angle.
