I picked one up this week and plan to have some fun with it before at some point in the future I might consider selling it to one of those hundreds of thousands L-mount users out there. 😀 But I don't think I will. Chaemono Posted February 23, 2019 Author Share #5 Posted February 23, 2019 (edited) I have to admit, before I got this lens I asked myself "Am I a 16 mm type of guy?" and the answer was clearly "No." So, I went ahead and bought it anyway and now I have to practice. Of the eighteen keepers here, thirteen are at 16 mm and the closest I went was 25 mm. Polarizing filter was used to reduce reflections. The lens is a bit addictive. Now that the 35 Summicron-SL has been introduced, I wanted to see what the Super-Vario-Elmar-SL 16-35 can do at 35 mm "wide open" 😁. I have tons of pictures from today and still need to go through them. But upfront one already to warm up.
