I tend to bin lens caps and put Leica UVa filters on but not had such a wide angle before  Thanks in advance folks  John

caigy Posted February 5, 2019 Share #2 Â Posted February 5, 2019 Don't know about the Leica-branded filter, but a B&W XS-Pro works fine without any vignetting.

jaapv Posted February 5, 2019 Share #5  Posted February 5, 2019 I prefer B+W 007 protective filters, as they are stronger, thinner thus less aberrations and Nano-coated AKA easy to keep clean. UVA filters are not designed to protect, but to filter UVA. BTW, Leica filters are not made by Leica, but bought and branded.
