It shows as white text now rather than black text like all the others and I am not sure if that was the case before. I never used it. Â I think the resize was only applicable if shooting jpegs. EH21 Posted July 23, 2007 Share #46 Â Posted July 23, 2007 Took a shot before and after firmware upgrade from 1.2 to 1.3 - don't see significant difference in the noise at ISO 400 but the colors are slightly different (very slightly) at the same white balance settings. In lightroom, I read about 1% more in the blue channel across the color spectrum. In my test shot the 1.3 firmware had a lower exposure than the 1.2 and the image actually is better for it. This is a very good update and worth the wait. Now, when can we expect 1.4? )  English link here, btw  Leica Camera AG - Downloads  And, someone should maintain a copy of v1.1 and 1.2, just in case. Julian H Posted July 23, 2007 Share #49  Posted July 23, 2007 Charles  I have noticed a slight reduction in exposure for a given ap/sh/iso setting compared to 1.1.  I think I can also see an improvement in white balance and a more realistic rendition of highlight overexposure red indication on playback. Anyone else experienced this, or am I just dreaming? Raw, same good high quality, really outstanding and the awb on raw is better 2. Jpeg, seems to be better " out of the box" for jpegs more accurate and usable directly for "snapshot photography" 3. it's holding the profiles better then 1.1 4. AWB seem better, weather here is gray and rainy, flouresent lighting test was better, when set to flouresent right on. 5. looking forward to testing bigger SD cards 6. zooming in on camera monitor seemed pretty much the same 7. buffering 10 shots in a row seems the same speed 8 file sizes still very large  need to do some real-world field testing    i feel like i got a new camera !!! Use your daylight, flash, tungsten, fluourescent, or cloudy settings for the lighting conditions you are shooting. A professional photographer friend of mine who uses Nikon does not trust the auto white balnece setting and advised me to use the appropriate settings for the lighting I am using.
