The rumors about the S1R have come true. Optional LENR (very important for astrophotography), IBIS (important for usage of (adapted) long lenses without OIS), highres EVF (world's sharpest EVF at 5.76 megapix, more than the SLs), and finally gigantic 187 megapixel resolution (16736x11168) in case you ever need it for landscape or other non-critical work. Support of SL for the Panasonic lenses (the firmware has just been released in time). Also the AF has been improved (with DFD technology). And amazing video capabilities - that I probably won't need.

All I need for the next few years. Suddenly the idea of using a MF camera has become not so important anymore. And what will the SL2 bring ? Maybe similar features ... well I am not so sure about LENR ...    :D
