Tedlius Posted August 3, 2007 Share #21 Â Posted August 3, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Summaron 35 3,5 ! Is a very good lens, and not so costly expecially the A36... on IIIc can go well, original filters are easy to find if you need... but if you plan for a M8.. the UVIR can be a problem.. better an E39. Â I wish I really liked my 35 3.5 Summaron. When used against the light it flares badly and washes ourt the picture. Â Ted.
Advertisement Posted August 3, 2007 Posted August 3, 2007 Hi Tedlius, Take a look here which 35mm lens?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
dcoombs Posted August 4, 2007 Share #22  Posted August 4, 2007 Here is an example shot taken with the Summaron f/3.5 (LTM E39 version). Nothing was done to enhance the picture. These lenses are readily available and inexpensive. I had this one cleaned a few years ago for about GBP 25, and it's great for certain situations and/or looks. I've also got an early version of the Summicron (M mount), which is sharper and more contrasty to my eye. All depends on your priorities.  Regards, Doug Welcome, dear visitor!
