I bought a cron asph from a member here, reviews and chitchat aren’t really out there about this lens. Below one image taken from the car, cropped as the right part didn’t add to the image.

Nice. It looks pretty dark but you have plenty of depth of field - any idea what sort of aperture yu were using?

Hi John.

Not 100% sure (recording accurate aperture detail is not a strength of the M10-D) but the first photo probably f/8 or f/10 and the second f/5.6 or f/8.

The change of aperture wasn't a deliberate act but more likely a result of knocking the aperture ring when refocussing.

If I recall correctly for the first photo I focussed on the police car, for the second (which was actually the first I took) I focussed on the Underground sign.

The close-focus feature on the newest Summilux-M 35mm opens up a lot of new possibilities with still life.

M10 Monochrom with the Summilux-M 35mm (2022 version) at f/1.4; ISO 400. No crop!
