Very nice pictures.  👍🏻📷 I am sometimes surprised what a 35 mm can do.  If the pictures are taken in the right way, you might think it was taken with 50 or 75 mm.  Nice work. !  Are they all photographed on f 1.4 / 2 ?

Thank you for your words. I think the same about this, 35mm is just the most versatile focal length in my opinion. Even more on non Leica M cameras thanks to the closer focus capabilities. These were all shot on f1.4 because it was super dark (blue hour almost gone). Have to say that the Distagon ZM is by far the most superior lens I know. It's on the same level as the latest & greatest full frame lenses such as the 35mm GM or Sigma's 35mm f1.2.

Got the Voigtlander Ultron 35mm f2.0 now for a few weeks now and I have to admit that it's amazing. It's almost, by 99%, as good as the ZEISS Distagon but in a very, very small package. If Voigtlander ever comes up with a 35mm f1.4 with this kind of rendering, I'll buy it in no time. Hopefully that compression doesn't unsharp the images too much …

Film ? Stock ?

@mheine I'm also interested. Film or very nice LR preset?

As per Ultron... Indeed, Voigtlander is releasing very interesting lenses recently. I saw few photos posted online but must admit that to my eye, background blur is still too harsh. Maybe it is just me...

btw. Interesting photos.👍

Leica M10, so edited in Lightroom Mobile. Didn't use any presets, just a few tone-curve adjustments.
Yes, that background blur can be a bit harsh but normally I like the rendering a lot - it really depends on the given background.

I like the way you've processed them ....very well done.

Any more details on what you applied in terms of type of tone-curve adjustments, and presumably what/how much grain in Raw processing too, would be much appreciated.

Thank you! It's just a S curve on all RGB channels, crushed blacks (fade look), didn't fix the vignette of the Ultron and for the grain: 35 , 40 and 65.
