Topsy Posted December 15, 2018 Share #1 Posted December 15, 2018 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi all, I am looking for a little help here, I have a 21mm f2.8 Elmarit (Canadian version). I have lost one of the small screws that are used to secure the lens hood so I can't properly fit the hood. Do any of you know how I might be able to get (purchase) any new screws, I have contacted Leica-camera UK but they are unable to help me. I have attached some photographs to show the lens and screw if that helps. Grateful for any advice, Regards Topsy. Welcome, dear visitor! ropo54 Posted December 16, 2018 Share #3 Posted December 16, 2018 You might try "DAG" (Don Goldberg) in the USA, as he is a longstanding, respected and frequently used Leica repair service. He oftentimes will have odd parts laying around. Here's a link: Featured Products.webloc Good luck. Rob
Ko.Fe. Posted December 16, 2018 Share #4 Posted December 16, 2018 Try to find thread matching screw. Cut head off and file it to the appropriate height. Use epoxy and filing to formulate same shape as original. And put renaming original one on the thread locker.
