Leica R4s and premature shutter release

I took my R4s out in the cold today (about minus 10 degrees C) and found that sometimes the shutter would release at the initial pressure stop (ie, the point where the viewfinder display initially lights up) instead of the 2nd pressure stop.  Anyone else had this happen to them?

Hi Evan!

 

Had the same problem in 2007 with my R4s. Was repaired locally for +- 90 $ . (one component of the electronic needed replacement)

Not sure, if a repair is still possible.
