Good interview. Sounds like they are committed to the APS-C format. It would be nice to have a 10 or 12 mm prime though.

I love the way Leica production people handle their cameras - they just look so comfortable with their cameras in their hands.  It's nice.  

I also like the way they say the APS-C cameras are "not less" than full frame, and that the glass is as good.  Not entirely sure that is accurate, as the SL glass is REALLY good, and I think I prefer the ability to get a very shallow depth of field with the full frame when I need it.  But my experience of the TL glass (11-23 zoom and 35 Summilux) is that it is very good.

Maybe I'm just old fashioned, and I'm used to full frame fields of view - I have always translated medium format lenses back to 35mm format.

The Leica interviews are always so professional - so much better than most of the rumours and speculation one otherwise reads.
