tobey bilek Posted November 9, 2018 Share #1 Posted November 9, 2018 Advertisement (gone after registration) First snow happened today in Chicago and lots of opportunities presented as trees still have colored leaves. I did a few pics and while chimping, a fuzzy spot appeared appeared in the center of the hardened glass. I wiped it with my finger and it skirted right over. Now I thought it is on the inside and this is an expensive problem. At home I tried the Zeiss eyeglass cleaner, Walmart or Sams, and off it came. What a relief. Source of spot is my big nose and using the camera with my dominant left eye. Solution will be to clean more often a the nose grease gets difficult to remove over time. The Zeiss is really good lens cleaner if you have to resort to liquids. I have even used it on a Nikon sensor that was really filthy on a used D3. pico Posted November 9, 2018 Share #2 Posted November 9, 2018 Whew! I know the feeling of relief! Soon with Winter the smudges change. A lint-free cloth in the pocket helps!
jdlaing Posted November 9, 2018 Share #3 Posted November 9, 2018 Your boys could also put a band aid on your beeper. That should stop the nose prints. 😃
