Einst_Stein Posted October 20, 2018 Share #22  Posted October 20, 2018 Actually I wont say RRS is a perfect fit, a better solution I have seen but find no where to buy  (seems a prototype) has the base slightly wider (1mm I think) than the camera, so that the LCD  screen is protected in the bad luck. Thanks. It sits a bit higher with the RRS plate attached. It does not stay level with native lenses attached. hirohhhh Posted December 23, 2019 Share #29 Â Posted December 23, 2019 I bought one of those cheap L plates and then realize it interferes with everything from pulling out the battery to adjusting different angles of the tripod. Then I purchased RRS for SL and since then it sits on my camera seamlessly, I even forgot it's there. It has few scratches, and that would be on camera if RSS wasn't mounted. Highly recommended.
