50 2.8 collaps. on M adapter????

Just a quick question for someone who might know

 

Will the 2.8 50mm collapsible elmar (the modern one) collapse fully on a CL with L-M adapter without fouling the sensor surround???

An easy check is to fit the lens to the M Adapter L, without fitting it to the camera, and see whether back of the collapsed lens assembly protrudes past the bottom of the lens mounting flange. If it does, I wouldn't chance it. If it doesn't, it can't interfere with anything, mechanically.

I would do but the lens isn't with me,    Thanks though

The lens works fine but will not collapse on the CL.
